Nothing really. It wont bolt up, especially if its a turbo back. And it will prob be a bit to big for a stock motor. 3" prob isnt to bad but 4"^=not enough backpressure!
That said, while we look clockwise to the new Twin-Drive, the technology is a long way off -- four years, if not more. VW will some time begin their government and utility testing of the conveyance, and we all know how red tape has a tendency to delay output releases.
For the here and now, there is the new sixth-generation 2010 Golf TDI. While we like the gasoline-powered Golf, there is a moderate spot in our automotive heart for the TDI. With its 2.0-liter, 140 horsepower, 236 lb-ft four-cylinder undistinguished rail injection engine, the TDI, like its Jetta TDI sibling, is a burnished and green little package. On an Autobahn tour from Wolfsburg to Berlin, which about 143 miles, where speeds typical much faster than rush-hour traffic on the 405, we averaged about 33 mpg.
I have talked about it before but looking for opinions, I made a 5" point-blank shut up speak up and ran it for a while. I then checked my sustenance mileage and was getting about 13 miles a gallon. A whole lot less than the 19-20 I get with the domestic exhaust on it. Exactly wondering if anyone else has had this prove or if possibly I fudged my numbers? -
