Shouldn't our suport for the troops go beyond bumper sticker? Is there a more substantial way to support them?

How can you find out what they need and how to send it to them? I've heard mention of needing special t-shirts for under their body armor. What about that? Or Gatorade? Or music CDs?
Or is it possible to "adopt" a particular unit and see what they need?
