National Motorsports and Fischer bring MRX to Canada

Kent Aubichon, Evil President of National Motorsports, has announced that his enterprise will be working with Fischer Motor Company to reintroduce the Fischer MRX to Canada in 2010.

After 8 years of development Dan Fischer the man behind the MRX ( interviewed in 2004 ) has seen his delusion of an American built sports motorcycle move into handiwork. It’s has been a long road since OWD first spotted the MRX at a pint-sized booth at the Indianapolis Dealer Expo back in 2004 , but now Fischer’s that illusion will move beyond the lower-49th, and reach into Canada.

Barring any undreamed of problems with Canadian homologation, the first MRX motorcycles will get to in the spring 2010.

The MRX uses the Hyosung 90° 650cc v-look-alike engine making National Motorsports a consequent choice for distributing this new motorcycle, given their existing distributorship of Hyosung products and wholesaler network. What further distinguishes the MRX from rival bikes like Suzuki’s SV650 are higher end components like 43mm inverted forks with compression and repercussion adjustment up front, an Ohlins rear shock with adjustable humbug height, compression damping and spring preload, and front braking assisted by a Brembo masterly cylinder and Goodridge steel brake lines.
