cam has been done, heads are newer, cat is cut out, headers running 3 - 2.5 in. coupler to 2.5 pipe single in dual out. 650 cfm carb. BIG air filter. dont want to go into motor. help?
thansk to everyone, i beg to differ with a few people, i do need to get the gears done, no doubt about it, blower sounds like a fun ( expense ) idea, lol but as far as stock reg 350 vs. my 305, ill take mine. i have a few bugs to work out with bogging on low gear excelleration occasionally, but i can almost keep up with my buddys ls1. something to think about. :)
One option to consider is a hotter ignition system. If you have an external coil, try replacing it with a hotter one. If you have HEI ignition, you can find better distributors and rotors, 8mm wires, and better spark plugs. Also, try experimenting with your timing a little. Slight adjustments may be necessary with your new camshaft. Other options include; a shift kit for your transmission, or gear changes.
